Our Programs
and Services

Reading and Recording

Our volunteer readers are vetted, pass background checks, and are specially trained to read and assist our clients with security and confidentiality. They can help with mail and other paperwork, basic correspondence and bill-pay, and completing forms and applications. In our digital age, reading can also consist of helping with online and Internet tasks, including email correspondence, research, and online shopping. College and university students can benefit from help with textbooks and other study materials.

Recording of books and other printed matter is done in our downtown office. Materials accepted for recording can include lecture and study notes for students, books, and other publications not offered in audio format for free elsewhere.

Youth Programs

Along with Pathways, our flagship summer program for blind and low vision youth, now in its 30th year, there are many new programs in development…

  • Adaptive Ski Trip for Blind and Low Vision Youth
  • Parents/Guardians Seminar
  • Read-to-the-Top! Reading Contest
