Our annual Vision Expo showcases the latest products, services, adaptive technologies, and resources currently available or on the horizon. Along with several guest speakers, numerous exhibitors are on hand to demonstrate their offerings.

Event Details


Every October, BSC’s annual Vision Expo showcases the latest products, services, adaptive technologies, and resources currently available to empower the blind and low-vision community. Past vendors have included Access Living, Cane and Able Fitness, Friedman Place, Chicago Lighthouse, Chicago Board of Elections, Guide Dogs for the Blind, Vanda Pharmaceuticals, and many more. A variety of presentations enhance the day with topics ranging from Independent Voting; ADA Compliance Programs with the Chicago Transit Authority; and a Q&A with a licensed Doctor of Optometry.  The day opens with a Continental Breakfast and includes a box lunch and a swag bag.
